A couple of weeks ago, I was asked by a media operator why I am stubborn with respect to technical details (when building #AI) and don't #negotiate to close. They questioned, "How does it matter if it is X or X' (a slightly modified version of X)?" I was not able to give a meaningful answer at the time, but the question stuck with me. Today, Taleb and X's #recommender model answered it for me. A highly technical product is as weak as its weakest component... compromise anywhere and it won't sustain.
