Highlights
It was great seeing old and new friends at the SAMNA conference last week! Looking back, my main takeaway from the conference is:
To date, we have had social and financial license to operate, which has allowed us to achieve unprecedented growth, and to look forward to an industry that is just at the start of amazing scale.
But this privilege is also a responsibility. As we enter this scaling phase of the industry, we need to make sure that we develop projects with our local and global communities in mind to make sure that we can maintain and grow our social license to operate.
And, we need to make sure these sites perform financially, taking into account changing technologies, markets, and climate to ensure we can maintain the influx of capital that will be needed for this technology to be a leading contributor to abating climate change.
From what I saw at the conference, we're on the right track, but there is still much work to do. So, let's go do it!

I just had an interesting conversation with an Engineering new-grad looking to get into solar energy. I hear all the time that we need many more people to join the industry faster. But, looking at the problem from their perspective, it seemed pretty murky about where they should start and how to make it happen.
Does anyone have any resources of good job boards or information on how to get into PV? Any recommendations on where a new-grad should look when wanting to enter the industry?
