Awards and accolades have always been secondary to me. If anyone knows me, I like to stay behind the scenes and "move quietly” — let the work talk louder than I can. I’ve always aimed to do something in life that fulfills my heart and puts more good into the world than I retract. I think the more that you do that, the more that you will succeed as good energy comes back around as you put more into the world.
With Songfinch, we have paid more than $35mm to the independent artist community, created a “middle-class musician” that is able to make a living making music, and have given hundreds of thousands of people the ability to connect via one-of-a-kind custom songs.
Last year, we were #166 on the Inc. 5,000 Fastest Growing Companies in America and this year, we clocked in at #11!!! This is a testament to our badass team, to our Artist Community filled with some of my favorite humans on earth, and ultimately, to the good energy we are all collectively putting into the world through music. The music industry is not dead, it is changing and we will continue to forge ahead with an artists-first mindset to continue to allow them to bless the world with their gift.
