Back on May 16, we had #BMEday at the Supreme Court of Georgia, when my Bondurant Mixson & Elmore LLP colleagues Michael Terry, Frank Lowrey, and I each argued certiorari cases to Georgia's Supreme Court.

Today, we learned that we'd won the tax case I argued for the Medical Center Hospital Authority (of Columbus, Georgia). Saving your client well over $150,000,000 in potential property taxes feels like a good day. Many, many thanks to my BME colleagues Mike Terry, Matthew Sellers, and Mollie Fiero for their work on the matter, as well as our co-counsel and client reps Andrew Rothschild and Thomas Worthy.

Many thanks, as well, to the MHCA, Columbus Regional, and Piedmont Healthcare for entrusting us with the matter.

I'm super proud of my Bondurant Mixson & Elmore LLP partner Michael Terry - this weekend, he received the State Bar of Georgia's Tradition of Excellence Award! His career has been incredible, and those of us lucky enough to practice with him couldn't be happier or prouder of him.

Well $%^ done, Mike!
