Today I spoke with a seller who’s losing $100 a day because of an Amazon listing suspension.
After 15 years of successfully selling on Amazon with over 38,000 listings, this seller was hit with a suspension due to a minor tracking rate issue—dropping just below the 95% requirement.
The seller spent months trying to get reinstated, only to have Amazon restore a portion of their listings, leaving 17,000 book listings still inactive.
Despite back-and-forth communications with Amazon, the problem persists, costing the seller thousands in lost sales.
This situation highlights a common frustration among Amazon sellers:
"It's crazy that they're dealing with me this way after shipping over 100,000 packages and maintaining stellar feedback."
For sellers facing similar issues, it’s not just about lost revenue—it’s about the time, energy, and trust that’s eroded with each unresolved case.

Today I spoke with a seller who’s facing a harsh reality on Amazon.
He used to move nearly $900,000 worth of products annually on the platform, but now his sales have dwindled to almost nothing.
“I got zero sales last night. That’s just unbelievable,” he said, reflecting on what used to be a steady stream of 40-50 sales daily.
His frustration is palpable, particularly with Amazon’s customer service and the constant struggle with listing suppressions, “I’ve just got so fed up with Amazon. It’s horrible.”
His once-thriving business, built around high-ticket items like ATVs and dirt bikes, has been hit hard.
“They’ve taken down so many of my products… I’m down to almost nothing and I just wanted to get it back up and going,” he shared.
But with 293 listings suppressed and little success in appealing to Amazon, he’s at a crossroads, contemplating shutting down his Amazon store entirely.
The season for ATV sales is around the corner, and he’s desperate to turn things around.
This situation highlights the importance of robust catalog management, proactive customer support, and strategic advertising—especially for sellers whose livelihoods depend on platforms like Amazon.
