Robert Walton is a versatile artist excelling in conceptual, media, and performance art, including theatre, installation, writing, and interactive art.

Robert has an extensive background in the arts, having co-founded two Scottish arts organizations, Reader Performance Group and Fish & Game, whose works have been showcased in the UK, Europe, and Australia.

With a Master of Science degree from the University of Glasgow, Robert is known for developing the first social networking platform for artists, supported by Arts Council England.

Robert's career journey led him to Australia in 2011, where he assumed a lectureship in Theatre at the Victorian College of Arts, University of Melbourne, now overseeing the Master of Dramaturgy program.

His contributions extend to curating Australian dance and performance works for Culture 2014, The XX Commonwealth Games (Glasgow), and initiating innovative projects like In Your Hands and the award-nominated Vanitas mobile app.

Education-wise, Robert's qualifications range from a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Arts Education to a Doctorate in Theatre and Performance Studies/Digital Art at the University of Melbourne.

Throughout his career, Robert has been associated with various prestigious organizations, including acting as a Resident Artist in Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne and serving as a Commissioned Artist for the City of Chicago.
