Robin Rasor

Associate VP, Translation and Commercialization

Robin Rasor is the Associate VP of OTC where she oversees all functions of the tech transfer process at Duke's Office for Translation & Commercialization.

With a background in Licensing and Genetics, Ms. Rasor previously held positions as Managing Director of Licensing at the University of Michigan and Director of Licensing at The Ohio State University.

She is a former employee of Battelle Columbus Laboratories, a prominent US contract research firm.

Ms. Rasor holds a MS in Genetics from The Ohio State University and a BS in Bacteriology and Zoology from Ohio Wesleyan University.

She is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) and has served in various leadership roles, including being the Past President of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM).

Recognized for her contributions, Ms. Rasor received the President's Award from AUTM in 2005 and was part of an honored team by The American Association for Cancer Research in 2007.

Her specialties include academic technology transfer and market research.

In addition to her current role at Duke, she has previously been involved with Southeast BIO and held positions at the Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce.
