It was an electric moonshot when Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Polaris Inc. partnered up to connect over 120 miles of off-road trails with EV charging stations to power a one of a kind outdoor experience on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Le Labs Group helped open those trails with a three day adventure that celebrated the incredible partnerships that made it all happen.

If you didn't make it to Lake Superior this summer, the fall foliage promises to 'wow.'

This week Le Labs Group is getting ready to help Polaris Inc. and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation celebrate the opening of a first-of-its-kind EV off-road trail network on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The public-private partnership connects around 125 miles of scenic trails in the foot hills of the Porcupine Mountains -- past dramatic elevations, over dams, alongside waterfalls, through the ancient mountains of the Gogebic Range -- with EV charging stations. The experience was designed for the Ranger Kinetic in mind where Hamilton's North Coast Adventures serves as the gateway to the wilderness beyond.

So many incredible partners helped Polaris Inc. and the Michigan Outdoor Recreation Industry Office bring this unique pilot to life including -- Yotta Energy, Xcel Energy, Adventure Mining Company, Advanced Power Systems Research Center (APS LABS) at Michigan Technological University, MI-TRALE, Michigan Outdoor Recreation Industry Office, Ontonagon County REA, Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), Tread Lightly!, Upper Peninsula Power Company and We Energies.

We are looking forward to feature partners who are infusing the festivities with their local spirit as well such as -- the Keweenaw Brewing Company, Keweenaw Coffee Works, Michigan Made, Michigan Moon, the Ontonagon Artist Collective, Scott’s Superior Inn & Cabins, Miller's Cottages, The Honorable Distillery and the Ontonagon Chamber of Commerce.

This week shines a spotlight on how the Upper Peninsula of Michigan has become a hub for outdoor recreation tech and innovation.

Polaris challenges all to 'Think Outside' and as we hit the trails this week, trade ideas with partners and enjoy the natural beauty of Lake Superior -- we will all be thinking outside in more ways than one.

The event also marks the first Le Labs Group collaboration with The Campfire Experience. So much more to come!
