I had the pleasure of attending the first in-person dinner meeting of the Brain Injury Association of Georgia (BIAG) board of directors at the Shepherd Center, last evening. It was fantastic to see everyone in-person and catch up after a long period of virtual meetings.

The purpose of our meeting was to prepare for the seminar with Shepherd Center, the "Think BIG Conference 2023: Who Are We Missing." This conference is designed for professionals and students, and we are excited to be able to collaborate again on in-person professional continuing education opportunities.

During the meeting, we also discussed our plans for the rest of the year. We have some exciting events coming up that we're looking forward to:

June 11th: Play BIG Golf Tournament at Top Golf Midtown, Atlanta

October 6-8th: Live BIG Camp BIAG at Camp Twin Lakes Will-A-Way, Winder

October 14th: Bet BIG on BIAG Casino night at Round Trip Brewing Company, Atlanta

I want to express my gratitude to my fellow board members, Kelly Moore Campbell, Katy O'Brien, Keith Miles, Cassandra Palmer (Cassie), Leslie Ann (Petsoff), Tiffany Lecroy, Tori Sowell, and Marti Hanson, for their dedication and commitment to serving the brain injured community. It is truly inspiring to work with such passionate and driven group of individuals.

I look forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming events and continuing to work together to make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by brain injury.
