Update from Day 4: A fresh branding and design - WIP

Top learning from yesterday : Why back early vs late(check quoted tweet)?

Solution: @kunal_jain and I spent the most amount of time brainstorming solutions to this, and getting feedback from founders and investors at Devconnect.

We unlocked one hidden insight. The whole VC industry runs on scouts. Scouts play the role to bridge founders and capital. Think of them as anyone connecting founders to potential investors like portfolio founders, and existing investors.

We came up with a design to bring this entity onchain and open up a whole composable layer on top.

  • programmatic incentive structure like discounted cap, preferred allocation, or even retroactive rewards, etc.
  • scouts earn reputation based their order of investing, the amount they invested, scouts that they onboarded or capital they onboarded.

By building this design we believe we can solve

  • discovery and capital ignition for projects
  • deal flow for gmtribe (scouts can help us get and vet projects)

With this combined, we believe we can turn gmtribe into a programmable YC.

More tomorrow! Back to building 🛠️
