Prior to joining EXL, Rohit demonstrated his expertise as the General Manager for Wipro, where he oversaw the global strategic marketing operations for the company's $1.5 billion healthcare and life sciences practice. During his tenure at Wipro, he expertly designed an account-based marketing program and restructured the marketing framework to better align with the company’s growth objectives, showcasing his ability to enhance operational effectiveness while driving significant revenue growth.
Before his influential role at Wipro, he served as the Global Head of Marketing for Cognizant Digital Works. Here, he was responsible for shaping the marketing and positioning strategies that would define the company’s services in the digital realm. Among his many achievements, Rohit led the launch of Cognizant’s co-creation digital center in New York City, an initiative that not only showcased innovation but also created new avenues for client engagement and collaboration. Furthermore, he managed global marketing and communications for Cognizant’s Healthcare and Life Sciences division, which recorded around $3.5 billion in annualized revenue in 2014. His duties involved orchestrating comprehensive marketing strategies, enhancing product and solution marketing, implementing client-centric revenue generation programs, and developing thought leadership that significantly bolstered brand visibility and revenue streams.
Rohit began his career with a strong foundation in marketing, first gaining experience at CompuSystems Inc. as a Marketing and Business Development professional followed by a role as a Marketing Manager at IIFL (India Infoline Group). His journey also includes valuable learning experiences as a Management Intern at Videocon International, which further enriched his marketing acumen.
