Roland Vaxelaire is the co-founder and president of IFFEurope.be.2 He is a highly accomplished professional with a long history of leadership roles in major companies across Europe.
Vaxelaire's career spans several decades, during which he held significant positions in renowned organizations such as Nestlé, Evian, Alken-Maes, GIB, and Carrefour. At Carrefour, he was the Director of Quality and Sustainable Development, and later the President of the Board of Directors.1
In addition to his corporate roles, Vaxelaire has served on the boards of Spadel, Merieux NutriSciences, and Brussels Beer Project. He has also taught at the Université catholique de Louvain and HEC Paris, where he shared his knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, corporate strategies, and sustainable development.
Vaxelaire is involved in initiatives such as STAND UP for EUROPE, which demonstrates his commitment to supporting civic movements and fostering positive change. He holds a License in Applied Economics from the Université catholique de Louvain and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
