Roman Hons is an Interactive Systems Designer and a Qualitative Researcher with a focus on user-centered design, technical writing, and semiotic analysis of complex systems. He specializes in emotive and gestural content design as well as e-learning curriculum design. Roman's recent career highlights include being an invited speaker at HCI international Conferences in 2013 on gesture and emotion design using semiotics and being an invited researcher at CNRS France in 2014 for document security design. He has academic background from NBHS and the University of Technology Sydney. Roman has been affiliated with various organizations like UTS where he worked on Gesture and Emotion HCI, and has held positions such as lecturer for creativity and semiotics in Human Computer Interaction, and as an education specialist focusing on curriculum development at AFTRS. He has also been a contributing author at the Association for Computing Machinery.
