Can I get an amen?!

Improve your memory quickly by:

  1. Staying hydrated. A dehydrated brain can have problems focusing

  2. Exercise. Improve your blood flow and improve oxygen to your brain

  3. Think in pictures. You will remember images longer than abstracts. It's why you remember faces and not names. You SAW the face. So see the name in your imagination! Steve = stove, Brian = brain, etc

  4. Use a mind palace. A mind palace is a map of a room where you have mentally number furniture. Whatever is first thing that you want to remember imagine on location #1 and then location #2 and so on. You could write out 10 points to a speech and imagine them as images on 10 locations and give a speech from memory!

  5. Review! If you don't review most information will fade after a day or 2. Continue to review every few days and each time you can't recall an item focus more on this item in future reviews and review that item more frequently working to 100% accuracy
