Roos Slegers is a passionate academic with a keen interest in the intersection of philosophy, literature, and (pop) culture. Currently, she is delving into topics such as vanity in late 18th-century authors, narratives influencing technological advances, and the dynamics of wit and mockery in society.

With a robust educational background, Roos holds a PhD in philosophy from Fordham University, Master's degrees in philosophy and literary theory from Leuven University, and an MBA from Babson College. Her academic journey includes studies at Radboud University and Maurick College, where she honed her skills in philosophy and classics.

In the academic realm, Roos has held prominent positions such as Assistant Professor at Tilburg University, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Babson College, and Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Centre College. She has also contributed significantly to the field through teaching interdisciplinary philosophy courses on topics like our evolving cyborg identities in the digital era, bioethics, technology, and a new course exploring philosophy and humor at the Master's level.
