Rosalynn Bliss is the Mayor of Grand Rapids, the second largest city in Michigan, known for its lively downtown area, diverse neighborhoods, local music scene, thriving businesses, and vibrant art scene. She made history by becoming the first woman elected as Mayor of Grand Rapids.

Before assuming the role as Mayor, Rosalynn Bliss held various leadership positions in different organizations. She served as Mayor at Grand Rapids School and at Grand Rapids Police Department. Additionally, she was the Program Director for the Kidsfirst Program at St. John's Senior Services. Rosalynn Bliss also contributed to the community by serving as a Board Member at the Dyer Ives Foundation, The Children's Assessment Center, and as Board President at the Michigan Municipal League.
