Highlights
After 7 years of coaching leaders and teams, young entrepreneurs and enterprise executives, private-sector dreamers and public servants, women at the crossroads of life paths and purposes, men developing deeper self-care and skills for effective communication… it’s finally official.
Thank you to every mentor, friend, and to Gallup for your help and support with me pursuing this certification.
I love being a coach. This journey unofficially started in the home I grew up in; so many opportunities. Then it steeped through receiving the angelic support of my life coach of over 10 years, Carol Sutherland.
It was in my late 20s, while honing my career, clarity struck. In 2017, while living in Paris, a loved one sent me an email, subject line: “epiphany.” Body: “You’d make an amazing coach.”
Months later, I joined the Ideas on Stage team and worked and grew alongside amazing talent like Phil Waknell and Joe Ross as a communication consultant/coach; en français : Coach Formatuer Commercial. Marion Chapsal de Mourgues ✨ was one of my first executive coach mentors. She is still a friend and partner on the path of being a lifelong student, passionate about human development.
I’m grateful to my teachers and peers, namely David Shechtman, MSOD, PCC and Moshe Michael Ovadia, at Evolution for the 6-month in-depth training centered on developing leaders through a transformational, integral theory, organizational development lens.
Tara Sophia Mohr for your soulful and expert modeling of being an artful coach through embodying feminin wisdom. Two gems I’ll always cherish of yours: “Every person is a universe you have never visited,” and “Every question sends someone somewhere.” Where do we want to send people (in their hearts, their imagination)?
And to my dearest confidants and fellow coaches, Lela Tuhtan, MA and Areyla Faeron, for your partnership and inspiration.
Jacque Merritt and Cathy DeWeese, my Gallup mentors and Q10s, for your skillful guidance and patience with helping us Learning and Development Consultants sharpen the edge between coaching and consulting—because we know there is a big difference. Then add in strengths, and we weild a multidimensional approach to realizing human potential.
And most importantly, to my mother, Carmen Wurgel, who raised me with the care, attention, and quality of listening that lit the flame for what it feels like to truly be heard.
I look forward to continuing the journey with my current and future clients, and am honored to uphold the high bar set in the standards of values, ethics, and competencies laid out by the International Coaching Federation.

For your consideration. And our future generations.
