Highlights
If you're planning a home renovation or new build project, you want to make sure that you choose your builder well. It may be the most significant procurement decision that you ever make.
Some homeowners will choose their builder based on reputation or recommendations from friends and industry professionals (like an architect), while others will invite multiple builders to price a job before making their choice.
At Faulkner Construction we often price work after being recommended to a client - only to find out later that other builders have been invited to price the job as well. That's ok - it just goes with the territory.
But sometimes we lose work to an alternative quote that's just far too good to be true, and we know that the job is likely to end in tears.
So I've written this article to help homeowners compare their builders quotes thoroughly and make a really good choice.
Please comment or DM me if you have any questions or would like get a copy of the comparison template.

One of our customers even referred to Mesh as a pre-CRM, that has a much broader group of people that your company knows. Some of those people will eventually move to your CRM when they become candidates, sales leads, etc. Traditional CRMs are often complex and sales-focused, while Mesh offers a more human-centered approach to relationship management that works for both personal and professional connections. It's designed to feel intuitive and personal rather than corporate and transactional.
