Ross Resnick is the Founder and CEO of Roaming Hunger, a company he started in 2009 that focuses on connecting food trucks with catering opportunities and events.13 He refers to himself as the "Big Burrito" of Roaming Hunger.1 Resnick's entrepreneurial journey began when he was inspired by the growing movement of food truck entrepreneurs across the country.1
Prior to founding Roaming Hunger, Resnick worked in marketing roles at Amp'd Mobile and Honest Tea after graduating from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business in 2006.1 He later completed his MBA at UCLA's Anderson School of Management.1
Roaming Hunger has evolved over the years to become a catering marketplace and an experiential marketing agency called RMNG.12 The company helps connect vendors with catering opportunities and also works with brands to create unique marketing experiences using their network of over 20,000 local vendors across 48 states.12
In 2024, Resnick partnered with Shore Capital Partners to further grow and scale Roaming Hunger.1 He is passionate about creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and supporting the growth of the mobile food industry.1
Personally, Resnick is married to Evelyn Taft, a morning show meteorologist at CBS, and they have a daughter together.3 He maintains a healthy work-life balance, often starting his day with exercise and a healthy breakfast before heading to work.3
