It’s true, Software is eating the world 💾, but in Africa we need Software and Hardware to split the meal - to not only eat up our old economies but reimagine and unleash new ones that marry the power of Software and Hardware🔧. Ironically, by addressing most of the infrastructure problems we face on the continent we will simultaneously address many climate related problems creating a ripple effect across the world. SaaS alone is amazing in economies that face minimal infrastructure challenges, but for that SaaS to truly be valuable in Nigeria and other African countries we need new forms of infrastructure developed, distributed, and managed by innovative companies. As we discuss the future of climate on the continent at the Africa Climate Summit 2023, let’s also adjust our investment mandates to deploy long term transformational capital that forces the bridging of our infrastructure deficit. Doing so will help unleash the power of scalable SaaS models in Africa 🚀 #acs23 #acs2023 #climatechange #climatefinance #africa
