I was very happy to be invited back last week Tuesday to the Delft University of Technology, at the Faculty of TU Delft | Industrial Design Engineering, where I gave a guest lecture on the aerodynamic design of transportation vehicles to the students of the minor Future Mobility Design (https://lnkd.in/epFWcjtD).
The room was filled with many enthusiastic students from various disciplines, who will work together on (re)developing various transportation vehicles and systems.
It was a fun and interactive lesson in which we treated basic aerodynamic principles and theory, guidelines, and design examples. Finally, we put the newly acquired knowledge to the test with a design quiz based on my own work experience within AEROFLEX (https://lnkd.in/gNtYAqA), see the image below.
I'm curious to see how aerodynamic the newly designed transportation vehicles will be. Many thanks to Elmer D. van Grondelle for inviting me.
