Ruairí Galavan is a highly accomplished individual with a solid educational background and extensive professional experience in the fields of Psychology, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, and Customer Engagement.

Ruairí obtained his Honours Leaving Certificate from St Fintans High School in Dublin 13 and went on to pursue a degree in Psychology Applied to Information Technology, specializing in Psychology, IT, and Human-Computer Interaction, where he received a 2.1 at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology.

Furthering his education, Ruairí completed his MSc in Human-Centred Systems with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction, earning a 1st Class MSc (1.1, Distinction) from City University in Great Britain.

Ruairí Galavan's career has seen him take on significant roles in various organizations, including his current position as Director of Customer Engagement at Intercom. Prior to this role, he held the positions of Senior Manager of Customer Engagement, Manager of Product Education, Senior Product Education Producer, and Product Education Producer within the same company.

Before his time at Intercom, Ruairí gained valuable experience as a Lead UX Designer at iQ Content, where he utilized his expertise in user experience design. He also has experience in video content production from his time as a Freelancer, as well as roles in UX Design and Application Testing at Aviva and User Experience Design Assistant at Frontend.
