Ruben Valencia is an experienced Academic Dean with a strong background in education management. Throughout his career, Ruben has been instrumental in managing academic affairs, ensuring student well-being, overseeing accreditation processes, faculty administration, and providing guidance in professional development for teachers. His commitment to student growth and teacher development is evident in his work ethic and achievements. He possesses exceptional skills in working with diverse groups of individuals with varying perspectives.

Ruben Valencia's notable accomplishments include pioneering the first private school International Baccalaureate (IB) program in Florida, serving as an IB programs coordinator with a remarkable 96% student Diploma passing rate. He held the position of President at the Florida League of International Baccalaureate Schools (FLIBS) for two terms and was a dedicated member of the Board of Directors for ten years.

In his teaching role, Ruben has imparted knowledge in various social sciences courses such as world history, American history, Theory of Knowledge, History of the Americas, and social and cultural anthropology. He has also led interdisciplinary projects like a mock archaeological dig that involved multiple disciplines for interpretation.

Prior to his academic leadership roles, Ruben Valencia worked as an Assistant Director at the University of Miami's Office of Admission, overseeing a substantial scholarship program and developing recruitment strategies for key markets.
