Rucha Patwardhan is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with a Master's degree in Renewable Energy Systems and over 8 years of experience in the Solar industry.

Her expertise includes Performance Analysis, Independent Engineering, Asset Management, Contract Assessment, as well as Sales and Business Development Support, with a specific focus on providing Technical Advisory to Finance.

Rucha currently leads a team of Project Managers on a multi-million dollar Performance Improvement Project, overseeing 510 sites with a total capacity of 900 MW spread across the USA.

A trailblazer in Entrepreneurship, she established the Distributed Solar Generation wing at Azure Power, successfully managing the construction of 7 projects with capacities ranging from 50 kW to 1 MW, totaling 4 MW in a single year.

In the realm of Innovation, Rucha is one of the inventors behind a patent-pending centralized monitoring and asset management platform called 'NOCC' at Azure Power, offering a wide range of features including real-time monitoring, fault detection, underperformance analysis, and more.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Pune University and a Master's Degree in Renewable Energy Systems Technology from Loughborough University.

Throughout her career, Rucha has held various key roles such as Manager, Engineering Risk and Compliance at Luminace, Sr. Analytics Engineer at Brookfield Renewable and TerraForm Power, Solar Performance Engineer at PV Pros, Inc., Solar Engineer and later Team Lead at Azure Power, as well as Operations and Maintenance Engineer at Azure Power.

She has also gained experience as a Research Intern at C-DAC and an Intern at Nirantar Power-Industrial Repairs, showcasing a versatile and well-rounded professional journey.
