Great read via IPL Packaging around the psychology behind luxury packaging. I couldn't agree more about the role of packaging, especially materials, in enhancing a brand's identity and creating a sensory experience beyond the product itself. I do believe it's also important to note the consequence of missing the mark here.
The consumer experience with a brand starts with packaging on a very tactical level. Packaging that does not match the level of luxury or the ethos of the brand can create dissonance with the consumer and lead to a poorer perceived experience of the product.
What a week for EIGHT Brewing Co.! Last week, Troy and I kicked off EIGHT's 1st Anniversary Tour with our incredible partners at Glazer's Beer and Beverage, LLC - San Antonio and Brown Distributing Company in Austin. We also had the chance to connect with the folks at Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse | Parry's Sliceria & Taps, Bubba's 33, The Flying Saucer, and Stiles Switch BBQ & Brew who have been supporting EIGHT since Day 1.
