Ruth Doubleday is a seasoned Chief Risk Officer (CRO) with a wealth of experience spanning 25 years in banking, risk management, regulation, policy-making, and overseeing intricate projects in various sectors such as retail banking, non-banks, and fintech start-ups.

Her expertise lies in areas such as embedding risk management practices, nurturing risk culture, devising risk reporting mechanisms, formulating regulatory strategies, managing ICAAP (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process), ILAAP (Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process), stress testing, recovery planning, and conducting wind-down analyses.

Having served as a vital member of the Basel Committee Secretariat, Ruth played a pivotal role in leading negotiations on significant frameworks such as TLAC (Total Loss-Absorbing Capacity), RCAP (Regulatory Consistency Assessment Program), and BCBS239 (Principles for effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting), reflecting her deep involvement in shaping global regulatory standards.
