Ryan Bartlett

Director, Climate Resilience & Risk Management at World Wildlife Fund

Ryan Bartlett is the Director of the Climate Risk Management program at WWF's US headquarters in Washington, DC. He focuses on enhancing the development, accessibility, and utilization of climate risk information to bolster resilience initiatives globally. Through collaborations with academia, the private sector, financial institutions, and local NGOs, Ryan works towards leveraging nature's advantages to facilitate adaptation to climate change for both people and ecosystems. His expertise covers infrastructure sustainability, climate science, climate change adaptation, climate-resilient development, climate-smart conservation, vulnerability assessment tools, capacity building, environmental economics and policy, and water policy and management. Ryan pursued a MEM in Environmental Economics and Policy from Duke University, a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Nevada-Reno, and a Certificate in International Development Policy from the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy.
