After nearly four years, this past month was my last at Affirm, having decided to step down as the Head of Capital Markets and move on to build/scale something new.
It's really incredible to look back at what we've accomplished over the past four years - growing our capital program from just over $2bn to over $10bn, GMV from $2bn to $18bn, creating a tradable market for a new asset class from scratch, cultivating and scaling key commercial and capital partnerships, and standing up the infrastructure and processes to support this growth.
I've been extremely fortunate to have learned from, lead, and worked alongside some of the smartest, kindest, most passionate people in my career and am excited to watch the team carry the torch into Affirm's next phase of growth and development. Affirm's mission is an important one and being able to deliver honest financial products to millions of consumers, especially in this difficult environment is critically important.
