Highlights
I enjoyed being able to share my work today at SDinGov and the feedback has been really positive and appreciated.
Like many people that work in digital I kind of fell into this but in the last few years I have found a focus to my work that feels like I can have a big impact and I’m keen to continue developing it and help as many people as I can.
Unfortunately I am really struggling to find a contract at the moment. If anyone knows of any opportunities can you please get in touch? I bring a load of experience to any Service design, user research or other product roles. Thanks
So this is exciting... my workshop has been accepted to Software Acumen Agile Cambridge 2022.
It has been a while and I'm really happy(no pun intended) to be directing my own work again. It's one of the reasons I've moved to full-time contracting.
One key problem I've been faced with in contracting is jumping onto a team and working to align process, people and tools in a very short span of time. When you're starting an active discovery and learning process and testing for solutions this can often cause a lot of tension.
I've developed a toolkit to rapidly get from goals to a prioritised experiment backlog for design and product options and I hope other people will find it useful in their organisations. https://lnkd.in/d66RmiBj
Come to Cambridge for what looks like a great lineup. Here are a few sessions I'm looking forward to attending: • Emily Webber's workshop on the Team Onion • Amy Wagner's workshop on Agile permaculture • Willem van den Ende/Marc Evers Fishbowl on road mapping
