Sadly, very sadly, there is a good chance if you have a significant other, one of you lives alone for a long time. Longer than you thought. 5 years, 10 years, maybe 15 years.
The community you build will help you during though times. You will watch family and friends pass, and it almost seems cruel to live too long, but I haven’t seen anything more powerful than community and friendship within those moments.
