Exciting news from here at Databricks as we launch #DBRX!

"What organizations want and need is a custom model based on their data. It's not general intelligence; it's data intelligence on their data. We've built an open-source model so that they can own the IP."

Learn more about the release of DBRX, a new open-source general-purpose model, as shared by Databricks CEO Ali Ghodsi on Bloomberg.

I think a lot (like all the time) about the learning journey and user experience. Naturally, I take special note when I see a piece of content or an interaction which delivers an extra degree of empathy. Such was the case with the message I received the other day from Ancestry. Although this will be my sixth Mother's Day without my mom, I generally still choose to turn the channel or delete an email when it is alerting me to the upcoming holiday. I really appreciate that Ancestry took the opportunity to ask me what messaging I prefer. Whether they analyzed the data from my account which flagged that my mom passed away, or they sent this message to all users (as there are certainly multiple reasons why one may wish to not be reminded of Mother's Day), eliciting feedback like this is an important practice. Empathy and personalization is key to connecting with users. I challenge everyone to take special note where you have noticed a heightened degree of empathy from a SaaS product, and how that has improved your #userexperience and your opinion of the brand. #marketingautomation #saas #data #empathy
