Saadia Hasan is a current Medical Research Scholar Program student at the National Institutes of Health under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Ward. She is also a Medical Student at Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Neuroscience with a minor in Biomedical Research. She conducted research at prestigious labs such as UCSF under Dr. Erik Ullian, UCLA under Dr. Kelsey C. Martin and Dr. Utpal Banerjee, and Santa Monica College under Dr. Roman Ferede.

Saadia's research interests lie in Neuroscience, particularly focusing on synaptic plasticity, glial function, and neurological disorders. She aims to contribute to neuroscience research in both academic and industrial settings.

In addition to English, Saadia is fluent in Urdu/Hindi and Bengali.

Her educational background includes studying Doctor of Medicine (MD) at MCG/UGA Medical Partnership, Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at University of California, Los Angeles, and additional studies at Santa Monica College.

Saadia has previously served in various roles such as Student Researcher at UCSF, Research/Lab Assistant at UCLA, and as a Student Researcher in different departments at UCLA including Biomedical Research, Neuroscience, CDU and UCLA Cancer Research Program, and at Santa Monica College.
