Saajan Varanasi, a young and dynamic individual, hails from Berhampur, Odisha, showcasing leadership qualities and organizational skills since his school days.

Currently, at the age of 23, he is pursuing Architecture at the prestigious School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, India.

Among his notable roles, he served as the National Treasurer of the National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA) India, overseeing the operations of 36,000 architecture students and playing a vital role in its revitalization.

Driven by a vision to upcycle waste materials, he co-founded Design Mafia, an organization dedicated to transforming waste into valuable products, inspiring thousands of students and professionals globally.

Through Design Mafia, he has conducted numerous workshops on waste utilization, including the successful implementation of the Junk Morphia Initiative, supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Govt. of India, and UNDP-CEE-SGP-GEF.
