👏 Kudos to Nicholas Flanders, Jimmy Chuang, and the entire Twelve team 👏
Whether you call it the "Missing Middle" or the "second Valley of Death" the growth of ClimateTech companies from venture capital to project debt facilities is an incredibly challenging one with only a few startups successfully navigating that transition - and today, we successfully added one more to that list!
This debt deal will help accelerate low-carbon air transit and further demonstrate the impact of financing in unlocking new infrastructure development. This is just the beginning - the age of #energyabundance is here!
Very honored for Munich Re Ventures to be invited to ARPA-E’s Commercial Offsite to share some of our insights and learnings on commercializing #ClimateTech infrastructure and improving project bankability for #industrial #decarbonization projects, particularly while discussing the role of insurance. As a topic that Peter, myself, and the team have spent the last 18+ months navigating, we recognize there are no easy solutions. But we remain committed to building coalitions with public and private institutions to navigate today’s challenging financing environment and enable accelerated project development in the future.
Thank you Jonathan Glass, Priyanka, and Hagar for allowing us to be a part of your day!
