Sabelo Ndlovu is an aspiring lawyer from a rural community in Durban, South Africa, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Cape Town.

As a McFarlane Scholar, legal intern at CALS, and Dean-appointed mentor, Sabelo is actively involved in academia and professional development.

With a diverse international background, including work experience in China and living in five different countries, Sabelo brings a unique global perspective to his endeavors.

He graduated cum laude from Amherst College, majoring in Legal Studies and French, with a keen interest in medical law, evidenced by his honors thesis.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Sabelo has a passion for education, evident through his work as a language tutor, study abroad advisor, and admission intern during his college years.

His professional experience spans education, consumer relations, and legal services, showcasing his multidisciplinary skills and interests.

Described as personable, engaging, motivated, intellectually curious, and compassionate, Sabelo also enjoys the performing arts, reading, writing, cooking, and nature-related activities in his leisure time.
