The eVisit team and I extend our heartfelt thanks to Eric Thrailkill, Nashville Entrepreneur Center, Sage Growth Partners, NEC's Project Healthcare and The Disruption Lab for their invaluable efforts in making the third year of The Telehealth Academy a reality. It's been an absolute privilege for eVisit to collaborate with Eric and his team in bringing this event to life.

This year, I was deeply honored to participate in a panel discussion about the sustainability of virtually integrated care delivery. At eVisit, we focus on improving access by integrating virtual-first care delivery to improve throughput, reduce unnecessary utilization, and optimize resources to ensure patients receive care from the most appropriate location and clinicians experience efficiency, flexibility, and are well resourced. I shared my recent experience of welcoming my second child. My wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy without complications, yet we spent way longer in the hospital than we had any business doing. The time to reevaluate traditional care models and embrace virtual solutions for delivering care from the most appropriate access point is now.

We're grateful for the opportunity to contribute to vital conversations about the economic value of improving access via virtual integrated care and its impact on safety and outcomes. I'm looking forward to another year of progress working alongside my eVisit team in reshaping healthcare delivery.

Much gratitude to the organizers of the American Telehealth Academy for putting on such a fantastic conference. Sponsoring and participating in an event that brought together many experts and thought leaders in the virtual care space was truly an honor.

I also want to extend a special thank you to all of our partners who collaborated with us to share their expertise on moving virtual care forward in the wake of the pandemic. It was incredibly valuable to hear from so many different perspectives and learn about the innovative strategies used to improve access to care and patient outcomes.

At a time when healthcare is rapidly evolving, it's important to have events like this where we can come together to share knowledge and ideas. I'm excited to continue this important work and to help drive progress in the virtual care space.
