Hey all - I wanted to offer some time to see if I can help any early-stage start-ups/founders.
After intensely trading my own capital for 14 years at the beginning of the shift from pit trading to software. I had the start-up itch.
I founded/co-founded two start-ups, both successful but one was impacted by the pandemic which taught me an incredible amount.
Moving on to an insane ride at Koinly, as second in command. We executed super fast, fully bootstrapped, growing from a modest ARR to multiple 8 figures and millions of users within 20 months.
During all of the above, especially in my younger years, I suffered from mental health issues, anxiety, and social anxiety. I now strongly suspect I reside on a spectrum (ADHD/ASD) myself. As my 9-year-old son was diagnosed at a very young age and I researched more, I started to see my own brain as being neurodivergent.
This may be why I loved trading my own capital and start-ups because of the incredible challenge; allowing my brain to hyper-fixate on super-engaging, difficult, interest-based problems that put me in flow and far far away from anxiety.
All of the above has given me amazing times, challenging experiences, and love for start-ups. A lot that I would deeply like to share with others, where relatable.
I thrive from listening, learning, and helping to solve problems and I would like to make time available (for free) to anyone who wants to talk about their start-up be it at the concept, launch, pre-PMF, PMF stage.
