Highlights
I recently spoke alongside our Chief Economist Erik Norland, at an education seminar in Hanoi, which was co-organised by CME Group and Mercantile Exchange of Vietnam (MXV). In my Metals update presentation, I gave an introduction of our global COMEX Aluminium futures contract. In particular I highlighted how investors and traders can use COMEX ALI to manage risks linked to changing production, demand and inflation trends, using a futures contract that provides round the clock liquidity. The event was attended by more than 2,000 participants physically and remotely. The level of engagement was fantastic as evident from the questions raised during the Q&A. I also had the pleasure of being interviewed by VTV, as I discussed how the Vietnamese trading and investment community can make use of our Metals product suite to manage their risks. #CMEGroup #MXV #Commodities #Vietnam
