Saeed Mohammad

Dr. Saeed Mohammad is a distinguished pediatric transplant hepatologist with expertise in the care of children suffering from chronic gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He is dedicated to improving the long-term outcomes and quality of life of pediatric liver transplant recipients. Dr. Mohammad's research areas include immunosuppression withdrawal, transition of care, decision analysis, and health economics. He pursued his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Aga Khan University and furthered his education with an MS in Health Services Research from Northwestern University. Currently, Dr. Mohammad serves as an Associate Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after previously holding positions as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Professor at Northwestern University. He also served as the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and as an Attending Physician at The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
