AI Researcher

Sai Krishna Gottipati is an accomplished reinforcement learning researcher currently working at AI-Redefined (AIR) where he specializes in human-in-the-loop training and other AI technologies. In his previous position, Sai made groundbreaking contributions by developing the world's first RL based synthesizable drug discovery platform. His work has been widely published in prestigious AI conferences like ICML, AAAI, and NeurIPS, where he also delivered an Oral presentation at the DRL workshop. During his time as a MSc (research) student in Artificial Intelligence at the REAL lab in Mila, the Quebec AI Institute at Université de Montréal (UdeM), Sai excelled in developing deep active localization techniques which were recognized in a top robotics journal, RA-L. Moreover, he played a pivotal role in the Maplite project, winning the best paper award at RA-L as part of the MIT-based team. Sai's academic pursuits were supported by a complete tuition fee waiver, a generous research stipend totaling $44,000 for 2 years, and an Arbour foundation scholarship amounting to $10,000. Beyond his primary focus on reinforcement learning, Sai also delves into research areas such as drug discovery and quantum computing. Notably, Sai is an International Master in chess and recently secured victory at the Canadian University Chess Championship.
