SaiDhiraj Amuru is a skilled Principal Engineer at WiSig Networks, with a background in system design and physical layer algorithms for 4G & 5G technologies. He is also serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at IIT Hyderabad, focusing on research in machine learning applications for wireless communications.

His contributions extend beyond his professional roles, actively engaging in standard organizations like 3GPP, TSDSI, ITU, and ORAN. He holds a position as an elected governing council member of the TSDSI, showcasing his expertise and influence in the field.

With a strong academic foundation, SaiDhiraj completed his Ph.D. in Wireless Communications from Virginia Tech and his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras. His academic pursuits align with his practical experience, evidenced by teaching pioneering courses on Machine Learning Applications for Wireless Communications at IIT Hyderabad.

Prior to his current roles, SaiDhiraj worked as a Chief Engineer in the 5G Communications team at Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore. His involvement in 3GPP as a delegate in the RAN WG1 underlines his significant contributions to the physical layer standardization of 5G NR, reflected in key specifications such as 38.211, 38.212, 38.213, and 38.214.
