Sal Marx is a multimedia artist dedicated to shedding light on patient experiences with chronic diseases and challenging the traditional healthcare system through storytelling.

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University, Sal previously studied Public Policy with a focus on Psychology at Pomona College.

Sal Marx's educational background also includes studies in Public Health and Graphic Design at DIS - Study Abroad and completion of high school at Bainbridge High School.

Having a diverse professional background, Sal has served in various roles such as Advocacy and Education Intern at Global Healthy Living Foundation, Patient Storyteller at WebMD, and Art and Math Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools.

Sal Marx has also contributed to organizations like the Spondylitis Association of America, Soft Science, Arthritis Foundation, and NCAA, holding roles from Video Editor to Communications Assistant and Executive Co-Chair.

Additionally, Sal has experience as a Camp Counselor for the Arthritis Foundation and as a Volunteer for the Spondylitis Association of America, demonstrating a commitment to advocacy and community engagement in health-related issues.
