Sally Kitch is a highly accomplished academic with a diverse background in history, anthropology, literary theory, and humanities.

She earned a PhD in History/Anthropology/Literary Theory from Emory University, a MA in Humanities from the University of Chicago, and a BA in English from Cornell University.

Sally has held various prestigious positions in the academic world, including being a University Professor at Arizona State University, a former Regents' Professor and Director of Institute for Humanities Research, a former Distinguished Humanities Professor in Women/Gender Studies and Director of Institute for Humanities Research, as well as a former Foundation Professor at Arizona State University.

Prior to her positions at Arizona State University, she served as a Professor of Women's Studies and Chair of the Department of Women's Studies at The Ohio State University.
