Sally has also contributed to the arts sector in various capacities, including as Government Relations and Foundations Manager at Soulpepper Theatre Company, Manager of Public Affairs at the Toronto International Film Festival, and Executive Director at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival.

Additionally, Sally has experience as a Writer and Editor through freelance work, as well as roles such as Membership Coordinator at the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto, Assistant Editor at Border/Lines Magazine, and Copy Editor at Quill & Quire.
