Highlights
Lest We Forget.
May 17 2024, I bid a bittersweet farewell after 9 incredible years at Airbnb.
Some of you may not know, Airbnb is the first company I worked at after graduating. It was their first time ever hiring fresh graduates in the Trust and Safety Team in Singapore. In my wildest dreams, I will have never expected to stay this long in the company. I am thankful for being part of and witnessing the exponential growth of Airbnb to what it is today.
No words can express how much gratitude I have for the people that I have crossed paths with, the laughter we revelled in and the sweat and tears we shared. This is what the “culture” of Airbnb represented.
But alas, all good things must come to an end. Excited and optimistic for what life beyond Airbnb means, but for now, gonna take a breather and rest.
❤️
The past 48 hours have been incredibly difficult for #airfam #airbnb. Globally, 1900 people (25%) have been let go, through no fault of their own, due to the impact of the pandemic on travel. With that said, we have created a directory where you have direct access to this amazing pool of talent.
