Highlights
I need your help.
I learned recently that 20% of female parents suffer from anxiety, depression, or both during the perinatal period (when pregnant + 1st year post birth). My wife and I are just about to welcome our second daughter and safe to say......it's been a rollercoaster. I am continuously blown away by her strength and the support we have in our community.
But.....not everyone has the luxury that we're so grateful for. Not everyone has the ability to understand and seek the care they really need. This is why I'm pushing-up this year.
3144 push-ups. 23 days. After 19 days in, notched just over 2000 and have a long way to go, but it's worth every bit of strain.
🚨 HOW YOU CAN HELP 🚨
I'm fundraising for mental health of mums and dads and I'd love your support.
Please donate through the below page - it would sincerely mean a lot to me.

Thank you so much in advance.
Note to future self: As kids get older, they get heavier. Make them push up on their own for greater efficiency 😅.
Push up for the better legends 🫡.

FINAL DAY: 600+ PUSH-UPS ABSOLUTELY SMASHED (3139/3139)
It’s been a little while since I posted on my progress for the push-up challenge. A serious case of man flu completely knocked me off the horse half way through and the natural challenges of life making daily updates just that little bit harder. It meant that I fell VERY behind, however, I did not give up.
Long story short: we went absolutely hard.
Over the past 24 hours, I completed 646 push-ups, totalling 3139 push-ups in 24 days and raising $250 for an incredible cause. I want to thank every single individual who contributed or supported me along the way. It. Was. Not. Easy.
It’s still not too late to contribute (see below) and will definitely look forward to doing this again next year! Until then, I’m going to rest my worn out bones, reflect on what I’ve learnt around mental health challenges today and maybe avoid push-ups for a little while 😅.
WHAT IS THE PUSH UP CHALLENGE
3139 humans lost their lives to suicide in 2020, so me and approximately 130k aussies are pushing up awareness and support in June. 3139 push ups over 24 days in June is the goal.
GET INVOLVED!
