My personal story with Coworking started 14 years ago in a space in Brooklyn aptly named "The Change You Want to See."

Since my first experience entering that space, the idea that most people will ultimately get to pick spaces to work that are designed around their own personal requirements, productivity, and happiness seemed inevitable. From that moment on, the old paradigm of bosses forcing their employees on where to work seemed archaic, ineffective, and old. I've been passionate about being a part of this transformation ever since.

Over all these years, we've seen astounding growth as an industry. When we started this journey, there were an estimated 300 coworking spaces globally. Today there are over 30,000 workspaces, with new spaces and concepts opening around the globe daily. Coworking and remote work have become a household concept. Companies small and large all around the world, (including the US government) have finally realized the future of real estate isn't everyone going to the same office but giving your team the tools and spaces they need to get their best work done.

I'm here to tell you that though our growth as an industry has been massive, we're still at the beginning of this journey and story. On this day, we're here to commemorate and appreciate all the incredible spaces and human beings who have worked tirelessly to celebrate, advocate and ultimately create a whole new industry and ultimately change how people see their work and the office.

We're so proud to have played a part in the coworking movement and can't wait to be part of its future story with you.

Happy Coworking!
