Sam Turner is an experienced humanitarian professional with a strong educational background. He obtained a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree with honors from the University of York.

Throughout his career, Sam has held various key positions in renowned organizations. He served as the Head of Region for East and Southern Africa at the British Red Cross. Additionally, he has contributed significantly to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in the UK and Ireland, holding roles such as Board Trustee, Country Director for Libya and the Mediterranean SAR, Emergency Coordinator in Bangladesh, Country Director in Uganda, Deputy Country Director in North Syria/Turkey, and Emergency Coordinator in Tanzania.

Sam Turner's expertise extends to other areas within the humanitarian sector. He has worked as a Field Coordinator for South Sudan at Action Against Hunger-ACF-USA. Furthermore, he has been involved with Save the Children International, handling roles like Partnerships Manager and Operations Support Coordinator in Syria, Roving Field Manager in Yemen, and Proposals and Reporting Coordinator in Yemen. Prior to these roles, he also served as an Operations Support Officer at Save the Children UK.
