Sam Yorke is an accomplished policy director and lawyer with a strong background in human rights, reconciliation, governance, regulatory affairs, and administration.

Education-wise, Sam holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Toronto, studied Droit at Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III), completed a Bachelor's degree in Political Studies/Economics at Queen's University, and attended Upper Canada College.

Throughout their career, Sam has held various significant roles, including Legal Counsel at the Government of Canada, Director of Policy in the Federal Government of Canada, Director of Parliamentary Affairs, Senior Policy Advisor, Senior Special Assistant, and more within the Canadian governmental bodies.

Additionally, Sam has worked as a Legal Consultant at UNHCR, an Early Resolution Officer at Ontario Ombudsman, and as an Associate at several renowned law firms such as Benson Percival Brown LLP, Thomas Gold Pettingill LLP, and Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP.

Furthermore, Sam has experience as a Donner Research Fellow at War Child Canada and has undertaken internships at the Office of the Attorney General of Ontario and the Office of the Premier of Ontario.
