To mark the occassion, today I am in hospital undergoing my 1 year surveillance check following sugery to remove 50% of my colon due to a bowel cancer diagnosis at the end of 2019.
Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK, yet if caught early is very treatable.
